I purchased several of these lights on Amazon through another seller, Restassured and they are great. If you have older 6" recessed cans and want to update both the trim and the light output at the same time, you can't beat these. What I really like is the output color and appearance of the light is identical to incandescent. 3000K as opposed to the "yellow" 2600-2700k output of most of the others on the market. These are very well built, high quality and yes, they are dimmable with your already-in-the-wall dimmer packdon't waste extra money on a new $40 LED dimmer, you don't need them. These are extremely easy to install, the only trick is to find a spot for the ground wire, which must be installed for safety and code requirement. The housing and trim is a nice heavy aluminum, unlike the plastic trim found out there and really sit nicely in the can. I am slowly changing my entire house over and these lamps are available from Home Depot for about 40% less than amazon has them for. Wish Amazon would lower their price to be more competitive
