While the color temperature on this bulb is better than most, it does not dim with a standard dimmer. I haven't tried this lamp on a led/cfl dimmer, but nevertheless many led lamps dim fine with them. I don't remember reading that it was not dimmable and it doesn't state it on the package. The lumens rating seems to be true to the label and disburses light well.

not a warm white. more of a blue white.

I don't these are going to work out in a dining room.

I had some difficulty finding a reasonably priced LED bulb to replace the 40W incandescent bulb in a ceiling fan. I not only needed the equivalent output, the replacement LED had to be warm white and had to fit in the space allotted in the ceiling fan.

I decided to take a chance on this bulb. This was a 'see if this works/fits' experiment.

I am happy to say, everything worked out fine.

The bulb fits the ceiling fan fixture, just barely, but it fits.

The illumination appears brighter than the 40W incandescent it replaces, but it does seem harsher, but it is indeed white.

Now it only remains to be seen if this bulb has longevity.

But for now, I am quite happy with this selection.

Received product on time in great packaging. Installed bulb in one of three E12 sockets is outdoor fixture and it did not work. Tested it in an indoor light and got it to work when firmly screwed into socket. Tried it again in outdoor fixture and it did not work in second socket but it did work when very firmly tightened in third socket. Tested it again in #1 and #2 sockets and it would still not work although an LED from Home Depot would work in #1 and #2 sockets.

The light is a very clean white light and as it is an LED it is very energy efficient.
