Have used a halogen desk lamp for years, way too hot. This LED alternative is cool, minimal generated heat. Will take a little getting used to the blue-ish light, but after a week I am very happy with it.

fits perfectly in the small place I had. The light is great as it focus on the material I want to

The lamp arrived on time and in perfect condition. It is bright and quiet. You can feel the top of the lamp is a little warm to the touch, but that's not from the LED but from the small transformer that converts AC to DC for the LEDs. The only complaint I have is the on/off switch is on the power cable insteat of on the front of the lamp as other lamp are. However, that's aminor flaw.

So 4.75 stars.

Warning. The light cannot be replaced. Who really wants something that will have to be thrown out at this price. Are you kidding me?
