50 W Watt Halogen Range Hood Bulb E27 Base - Fits Dacor® Range Reviews
I bought these halogen bulbs as replacements for my 5-year old Savona Zephyr range hood. It appears that the company does not support the parts for this appliance. These lamps work, but the european design for electrical parts is totally different than US standards. The extensive wiring disappears into cables, and then to ballasts and relays that don't seem to have any purpose; the sockets look like US medium base, but are much different than US, as are the tiny contacts to the base of the bulb. The brackets that hold the sockets are flimsy, and difficult to remove or replace. The glass cover on the bulb is also the flange to prevent drafts into or out of the passive exhaust. Still, it looks great, and the aggravation of this install is a better solution than buying and installing a new hood.
