There are not a lot of choices out there, it seems, if you want small, under-cabinet lights that can be hard wired. I really wanted puck lights, but they are impossible to find without the cords! These are all I could find after an exhausting search during many long nights on-line. They seem to work well, and have a toggle switch so you can shut them off individually, or use them either on high or low mode. They stick down a little lower than I had hoped, and I don't really understand why the light itself has to be wider in the back than in the front. The quality could be better,as I had to bend 1 out of the 3 light's housings for the door to stay closed and not pop open. I've had them up for about 2 months now in my new kitchen, and am very happy with them so far. If you want decent looking, relatively small under-cabinet lights that can be hard wired, and put all on a single switch, just like a regular light fixture, then these are a good,(and possibly the only), choice.Best Deals for American Lighting LHC1H-WH Hardwire Halogen Under Cabinet Lighting
They met all expectations.For who it may concern (Halogen bulbs produce significant amounts of heat under and on top of the bottom shelf of a cabinet that may affect a heat sensitive product).

THis lite is all metal construction except for the small end caps. Nice switch and wiring. If you have been using the plastic ones, you will love this one with the flip down lens. Finally someone did this RIGHT Thank You
