I did a bunch of research on amazon about sensor activated night lights, and found a mixed bag. These iceberg shaped nightlights had good ratings and were sold out at the time, so I knew I was on the right track. I just received it today and I must say it works perfect. It goes on at night, and staus off when the sun comes into the apartment. And it let's off a very tranquil, soft blue light. I finally found the perfect nightlight for me. So I will be buying 3 more for all the rooms!

Perfectly working sensor operated nightlight. May not be bright enough for the elderly but the answer could be to add a second nightlight. The unit's 1/2 watt power consumption assures you of low impact to your electric bill. Understand that a regular nightlight with an incandescent lamp consumes 15x the power ( 7.5w versus 0.5w ), is hot to the touch and can be broken into sharp glass pieces. The LED nightlight is fully enclosed, runs cool, and is more resistant to being broken by small children. I highly recommend this product for those that need that little bit of light in the middle of the night.

It's not quite bright enough to be a super useful night light. I placed it by the sink and while it is bright enough to light that area up enough so you could see what you're doing, it definitely doesn't reach the best of the bathroom. Otherwise it is a fine product!

***Ok, update to my original review. It seems to have died 1 day after my return window, leaving me with 1 month of use for ~$5. I'll have to pay more in shipping than the item is worth, so unless I can take it apart and fix it, it's now junk.

While I thought it was decent for the price, it seems 31 days of use isn't worth the money spent. Buyer Beware!***

Don't expect a ton of light from this, but it does add a touch of class to your living room, bedroom, or anywhere you just want a classy yet mute touch of light.

This is an excellent lift for the bathroom. It is not too bright but the blue LED is very vibrant.
