The LEDs may seem bright, but the actual amount of visual assistance is marginal. My 60-watt shop light throws a brighter beam with a better bandwidth and thus you can see better. It was hard to spot a fluid leak with the LED light, however the incandescent bulb allowed me to see it instantly. A dropped tool in a dark recess remained invisible to me with LED light, but once again the incandescent lamp showed where it was. This is a nice light to have around when you don't want a cord dragging behind or a hot lamp near your skin. I'm mystified by the purpose of the one lone red LED. Since no instructions are included, you are on your own. It's an OK product, just don't expect it to replace your other lights. Oh, and once I let it slip down alongside the engine into a recess and when I pulled it back the top portion with the hook was gone. Seems it is only pressed on and slides off easily. I'll have to glue it.

THIS LIGHT IS VERY GOOD, I ONLY WISH IT HAD A SMALL INDICATOR LIGHT TO SHOW WHEN THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED. IM AFRAID IF IT CHARGES FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR AND A HALF, IT WILL DIMINISH THE LIFE OF THE BATTERY. OTHER THAN THAT, VERY HAPPY.

This is a great worklight. It's very bright could probably use it for light therapy to combat winter blues! There are 60 LED lights, very nice design with optional magnets and a hook. I'm planning on buying another one.

I first purchased the Black and Decker 27 led shop light and was very dissapointed with the brightness. I found the Maxsa work light on line and ordered it. The price was the same and the Maxsa light had twice as many leds. It is very bright and has a magnet along with the hook for holding the light. I also like the 12 volt charger so I can take the light camping and charge it from the car or boat. The Black and Decker light is a toy by comparison.
