This light is big. It covers my forehead from top to bottom and looks old fashioned compared to any headlamp I've had. It's not heavy though and is comfortable enough.
The light is very narrow, with the usable bright area covering about a 12 inch circle at 6 feet distance. So it's more of a spot light. It's fairly bright but I've seen much brighter LED flashlights.
The build quality seems fine, especially for the price. It would be a good buy for the kids because it's so cheap you won't mind when they break or lose it.
