I ordered three of these solar lid lights. They looked great atop my canning jars and when placed indoors in a sunny window, they worked perfectly and lighted the window at night. But, upon placing on of the jars outside on a table on my deck, it quit working after only a few days.......the ones that are still inside are working perfectly, but I wouldn't recommend them for outdoor use.....sigh

I wiped the dust off some old jars I was hanging onto and filled them with glass beads, then put this solar lights on them. I love them. I have them on our steps to our deck and the reflections off the jars is beautiful. I shared a couple lids with my parents and they want me to buy more more more. They are addicted to them! lol

this light in a jar is an ideal night light. i put decorative stones in the bottom and use it as a nightlight. i want to get more and set on my front steps. the decorative options are endless!!!
