The Strobe Motion Alarm is an excellent alarm for use in areas where a portable or temporary installation is needed (such as rental apartments). The detector is sensitive, and quickly detects motion in the protected area. The alarm is LOUD, and the flashing strobe is bright. The remote arms and disarms the alarm with the push of a single button.
I have used this alarm for about a year, and haven't experienced any false alarms.
As portable alarms go, this is one of the best!

We run a fireworks tent in the summer and we use these as part of our overnight security. I have a 90'x30' tent and I use 3 of these to cover all the angles. When I first tested these in pitch black darkness, the alarm even scared me....and I was expecting it. Imagine how thieves react to it. I love that I can program all of the sensors to the same remote control.Honest reviews on Strobe Motion Alarm and Chime with Remote
The alarm is somewhat hard to set, but when you do get it set it works well and is very loud...the loudness is what you want from an alarm. The light is NOT a strobe light, NOT blinding or disorienting. All the light is good for is making it easy for the intruder to find and disable the alarm. I cut the wire to the light to eliminate this problem. Also, the red light on the alarm when triggered would lead the intruder to the alarm, so I put a piece of tape over it.After making these 2 modifications, the alarm works well for my needs.

This unit has poor motion pickup and is hard to set.I installed it over my sliding garage door (12') pointed down so that anyone coming in would be picked up and they would not be able to reach it to destroy it if they saw the light. (Poor design having a warning light) First off, if it does go off it is only after a 15 second delay...too much time, second it will not set with the remote unless I get a ladder to get closer to it (remote will not work at 12') and third it only picks up movement about 1/4 of the time.
It might be good if used level and close up??
I would not recommend it.
