I owned one of these lamps in the past, and loved it. I ordered this assuming it would be the same thing the picture showed a lamp that looked the same. I had to go on this, as there is no mention of the item's size in the description. When the product arrived, I discovered that it was much, much smaller than my original lamp. The lamp I used to have was large enough to light a small corner of a room at night. The lamp that I received fits in the palm of my hand. Everything else is the same. This little mushroom light is cute and it does put out a lot of light compared for the size. But, it is flimsy and cheap. It is made of some cheap plastic that seems very easily breakable. I thought it was more like a rubbery material from the picture. It's a cute little light, not bright though and very small. this is made from cheap plastic. cute idea, but doesn't look very safe and the box says to remove batteries when not in use, very odd
