I rewired my trailer so lights were 12v, and got this lamp to be screwed into an existing socket. I put it over the kitchen, and it is bright enough to be the only light for that area. And at 6 watts, my battery will last a long time.

It arrived way before I was ready for it, so shipping was excellent, too.

I am currently using these on my sailboat to reduce the power consumption. The lights are great, work well, and are a good color (asked for the warm lights).

My only issue is with the design of the bulb and the fixture I placed them in. Since the LEDs and dome start halfway down the bulb I lose light from behind. This would be fine in a single directional fixture, but in a omnidirection fixture only half of it lights up.

Not a fault of the manufacturer, but do double check how the bulb will sit in the fixture before buying.

Looking for low voltage off the grid lighting and this seemed like the perfect fit. The problem with this bulb seems to be heat as the room temp climbed to 75 F, the bulb will shut off for 2 seconds with a frequency of it happening about once per 30 seconds to a minute. I have 2 of these bulbs and both exhibit the same problem in two different sockets. As for heat on the bulb itself, the top white portion remains cool to the touch, but the fins on the side get almost too hot to touch. That is a lot of heat from a 6 watt part.

There is the possibility that it is also power related, though I don't think so. The battery powering them was reading 12.3 volts at the time this was occurring. While far from drained, it is below the full charge of 13 to 13.8 volts of a fully charged battery. I will further test this theory in a week or two, but I throw it as a distant 2nd as when I unscrewed the bulb and let it cool down, it seemed to be fine for a while until it heats up again.

One other issue, I ordered 3000 Kelvin bulbs and these do not look like 3000 Kelvin. They are too white. Box is marked 3000 however. I'd assume the color change is done with an alternate yellow head cap, but the ones I got have a white cap.

I will be contacting the vendor to find a solution. If I can, I will re-evaluate at that time. Even though it is not yellow, if these bulbs work, they are great bulbs!

Bulb flickered and did not fully light up right after initial installation. Was using if for low voltage landscape lighting. Never had this problem with any other bulbs. Dealing with Seller--Low Voltage and More--who is based in Hong Kong was a big, big hassle. I ultimately needed Amazon to help resolve matter since Seller initially threw up obstacles and then was non-responsive and uncooperative. Certainly not worth the hassle, and I will look elsewhere in the future if I need another bulb.
