We camp a lot in an area that is pretty primitive, and we use this lantern for walking to our trailers after dark, and it's fabulous for charging our cell phones and Kindles. The four settings are so cool!

After reading the positive reviews of this product I decided to purchase it because it is perfect for emergency purposes such as blackouts. Where I live these happen several times per year. I haven't had to use it yet but I like the fact that no batteries need to be replaced and you can charge your cell phone. I also like the fact that it can be charged through usb port and solar panel. I tested both and they work great. The lantern itself is sturdy and easy to carry. I would recommend this product to my friends and family. Good product
