This is the first warm-white LED nightlight I've come across. The warm-white color resembles warm/yellowish glow of an incandescent nightlight, but these only use 1/7th the power. These lights are sleek-looking with a thin rounded opaque plastic diffuser and a metallic-looking bronze base. The warm light also adds to the attractiveness of the light itself. The warm light also isn't as glaring. I even can sleep in a room with this nightlight, whereas a traditional cold white LED nightlight will keep me awake.
So why only 4 stars? As another reviewer noted, the LED is focused mostly on the wall. Also, it's not quite as bright as the cold-white LEDs, nor a traditional 7 watt incandescent. Not much dimmer than the incandescent, but still not quite up to the same brightness.

This is my first LED night lights I have purchased. I wanted a light that was durable and made to last a lengthy time.I purchased these for several reasons. The main reason is that I am tired of replacing the bulbs continuously in the old incandescent night lights. My labrador dogs keep slamming into the lights during their horseplay busting the lights. Even the ones that are not touched by my dogs only last a few months at most, sometimes only a few weeks.
These lights fit flatly against the wall which is nice. Visitors do not accidentally get snagged on them and neither do my dogs. The lights are going on over a year now and are still functional. In fact, two of them were pulled off the walls by my dogs, gnawed on all day, and still work even though they resemble a block of swiss cheese.
The light is more aimed towards the wall than providing the pathway light most are use to. Also, they are not quite a bright but, at the same time, they are not too dim where you are wandering around lost.
These are worth the initial investment. Yes, more costly than an incandescent light but they are built to last and you will save money over the long run.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I was very pleased with these nightlights. They look good though the ones I received look different than those shown on Amazon. Mine are a solid metallic gray color but frankly they're nicer looking than the ones depicted on-line. They work well and are sensitive enough to come on when I turn off my bathroom light. In other rooms they don't turn on during the day, even with the lights off, so the ambient light is enough to keep from triggering the nightlight. And since they're LED lights they should last a long time. I should also note that they're smaller than my other nightlights which means they don't block the entire receptacle.I've read some comments that these lights are not bright enough but I disagree with that. If you want an emergency light there are lights you can buy that turn on in a power failure and that you can then use as a flashlight. But for me a nightlight needs to be just bright enough to alert me to a stairwell or to illuminate a bathroom to the point that I don't have to turn on the room light in the middle of the night. And these lights meet those requirements quite well.

These are really cool night-lights, well made, good brand, etc. But they may not be as bright as you want. My son wishes they were just a little brighter. You will get more light with a traditional bulb, but these LED models are sturdy and LED based so they last a long time. I'm happy with it, but if you need more than normal night-light illumination you may want to stick with normal bulb models.
