I put these up around a window frame in one room and a door frame in another to give a softer ambiance and also to save energy. I love them, and often have only these on without needing additional lighting. There are also different types of white lights, these are the 'warm' white lights that I was looking for.

Works fine. The strand is all-white, so it looks great and the bulbs provide adequate light.

The product description says these strands are 23 feet long, but on the box (and in actual measurement), it is only 18 feet of lights, and 20 feet total. This is too short for our purposes (perimeter of a room).

UPDATE: The product listing appears to have been updated, and now accurately gives the length, so I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars (since it was still a hassle for me, but the problem has been fixed for others in the future.)
