A great light for your money, but, with a few caveats.

First, the pros:

1. Super bright light.

2. Focus-able light really floods the area with a consistently even pool of light.

3. Battery life is very good considering the amount of light it puts out.

Now, the cons:

1. Tightly focused, the beam is rectangular with thin dark streaks running thru it, and, the light has a serrated shadow at the bottom of the beam. I do believe this will really annoy some of you out there, so, fair warning.

2. No memory function, so, you have to cycle thru the modes to get the light function you want.

3. The beam has a ring around the main light beam. Yeah, it's nit-picky, but, some people will not like it.

Ultrafire needs to get a two mode version of this flashlight out on the market post haste. "High beam" and "off" is all this light needs to be an awesome out-of-the-box flashlight. Clicking thru 5 different modes to get to the beam you want is a royal pain in the butt for some, (like me, for example). This light doesn't need 5 different modes, in my opinion. If Ultrafire does that, I will be buying one as soon as I see it here on Amazon.com.

The flashlight is a very good deal, for the money spent. That is, if your in the market for a high output flashlight, and, you can live with the little caveats that come with it.

Also! I highly recommend you go to 18650 Smart Li-ion Charger and Two 3100mAh PROTECTED Orbtronic (Panasonic NCR18650A cell inside) Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Batteries Kit (NEW Version) here on Amazon, and, buy your 18650 batteries, and, charger from them. Your gonna pay more, but, you will NOT be sorry for buying the best Li-Ion charger, and, battery's on the market. It really makes a positive difference in the flashlight's performance, compared to the cheaper batteries and chargers out there. Thanks for taking the time to read this review!

This was a little longer than I thought,but it's a beast at 8 inches. The lense is magnified and the zoom makes the whole light. My brother liked it so much,he got online right away a bought one!!!

This is a great flashlight. I own several Cree flashlights. This one is my favorite so far. I like the zoom able feature. When you zoom in, it becomes a square that has lines going through it. Not so crazy about the lines. But the zoom feature allows you see a couple hundred feet away. Its great for looking in the back yard.

I have to say my first light was bad but the vendor made it right and the second light is fantastic.. This will work great for night hunting, in my case, and the zoom is a plus.

The solder on the inside of the flashlight was done really horrendously and the flashlight arrived DOA. I don't know if it's really even worth my time to return it.
