Puts out a good amount of light. Note that it would not be sufficient to light an entire dining room without windows, etc. Ours is an open floor plan so their is plenty of ambient light with this fixture illuminating the table nicely. The LED's are fairly uniform in color (I notice things like thatif you don't then they would be perfect to you). Routing the power cable as shown in the picture (helical) is difficult to do with results as good as shown in the picture. I ran mine straight up one of the support wires and it looks better to my eye that wayit even comes set p to be wired that way, with the little O-rings all on one wire.
Adjusting the height is so easyand a brilliant design feature. Kudos to whomever did that bit of design work!
