The whole low voltage, wireless remote controlled switches was a pain to figure out but once I did it was worth it.
All of my wall switches point away from my home theater space so the regular infrared remotes were not an option. This type of switch allowed me to combine other wireless dimmers to one hand held remote allowing me to dim all of the lights in different areas at once.
