My 5 y.o. son loves this. I bought this for his birthday and boy, I wish I hadn't. There is no "off" switch and this thing is super-loud. The buttons are easily pushed. For example, when transporting the bike in the minivan, be aware that other items may come in contact with it. On such an outing, I constantly thought I was being pulled over! I would search and search my mirrors to find nothing, or rather, no one behind me. I was very paranoid until I realized when I got the bike out of the car where the siren was coming from. You will have to take the batteries out to turn it off. It still worked after the bike was left in the rain...repeatedly...much to my chagrin. 5 stars because it is as promised, and my son loves pretending he is "the law". If you live in a small neighborhood, or around easily bothered neighbors, you might not want to buy this thing...unless your intent is to piss them off and invite retaliation...

The noise is great, and my son loves the light. It is a little on the cheap side and flimsy, so I do not expect it to last long. It is a cheap Chinese import, and it is packaged so poorly the seller had to bolster the product box just to mail it. There was a bolt missing, so I needed to go to the hardware store to get a replacement. I think the original box had fallen apart, and the seller stuffed everything back in and did not realize the bolt had fallen out. It is cool with it working now, but I would not expect too much from it, and I am not sure it is worth the price. I would look at similar products for one with better quality.

We purchased this item to go along with and mount on our grandson's new pedal police car (which will stay at our son-and-daughter-in-law's house). There are four buttons on the control panel, each of which summons a different siren and rotating-led-light effect. For starters, the siren is deafening (even to my past-its-prime hearing). To save the child's hearing (and yours) and remain on fairly-good-terms with the child's parents... you want to muffle the sound. I cut some double-stick foam tape to cover the speaker holes, then covered that with some super-sticky aluminum duct tape. That leaves the thing loud enough to get some attention, but not so loud as to be too annoying for a time or two. Of course, if it's all relegated to the grandson or grand-daughter's house then the noise is their problem, and you can gain some satisfaction that you've settled some past score.

The thing is designed to be mounted to a bicycle's handlebars, but anyone with a drill and some ingenuity can figure out how to mount it to a flat surface or anything else.

I only wish I'd thought to look for one of these to mount on my late-Mother's electric scooter during her time in assisted-living. She drove that thing like she rode her Harley in the early '30's, and she would've had a riot annoying everyone with the light and siren effect!

I ordered the item on this page the red spinning strobe light with horn for $19.99. I bought it to use on top of the fire truck bed I made for my 3-year-old son.

a cheaper product, and not the style that I wanted. My son liked the one we received, even though I know I overpaid for it.

On a positive note, shipping was very fast. However, I can't say that I'll order from this seller again.

The siren sounds are way too loud for a quiet neighborhood. Needs to be toned down. I had to cut the wires so that the light would work without the horn sounds.
