Enjoy Lighting does a really good job of making this candle look real by using real wax to make it. The light on the candle is perfect to set the mood or just to relax. There are 2 settings for the light dim and flicker. I would recommend this candle to anyone who's worried about burning down their house!

These candles are so realistic. I ordered two of them. I have one of them on my table in the dining room and the other one on the mantle. You really cannot tell that they are not real candles. The glow on the fireplace flickers on the wall just like real candles. The first ones I ordered came in cracked. I called Amazon and they told me to mail them back and they would replace them. They were fantastic. I got the next ones in two days, and they were perfect. I am so pleased with the candles and Amazon.

The two sconces I have hanging on the walls of my home look great with real 3x6' inch candles, but the candles have a tendency to drip wax onto the walls (or worse my dining room rug) as they burn. I made one attempt to switch over to LED's, but it was met with only moderate success ... the candles looked authentic but were poor substitutes for the real thing when "lit".

But these burgundy distressed candles hit the mark. First, unless you actually peer into the cavity of each candle, you'd never know it's 'fake' ... it looks and smells like the real thing. And the candles' functionality is equally impressive. The fact that each one requires four 'AA' batteries was a bit off-putting at first, but I changed my mind immediately upon turning them on ... the light in each candle is strong enough to produce a warm glow even in daylight, and the lower ("flicker") mode gives off a totally realistic candlelight look in the evening.

No longer does my To Do list include "scrape wax off walls" these LED's are the perfect alternative to real candles!!!!

Great candle, flickers like real and there are no worries using it. The only small distraction is the center part that flickers is not like a flame so it's best to put the candle where you can't look down into it.

I'll never buy a 'real' candle again. No flames and no smoke to scorch your walls/ceilings. The scent is very subtle but the light is just right. The flickering is very realistic. It's worth the price.
