I did not expect much for the money but I was pleased when they arrived. They are slightly different than described; they have three small white LED lights, there is no red LED and there is only one intensity setting. That is all I need, I keep these in my car and on my workbench. The thing that I was not happy with is that they use two CR2032 3V lithum cells; there is no mention of this in the item description.

We found that these barely create enough light to notice when away from another light source....so in other words pretty useless!

i got this product with a bit of scepticism because of the price. a two pack for

11.00 bucks was a little to good to be true. they say you get what you pay for but

for the price i got so much more. i'm a veracious reader and i go late into the

night. so i use head lamps to read by as to not keep my husband awake. these head

lamps not only give great light but are lite wait. they don't bother my husband and

for eleven bucks they work just the same and the 30-40 dollar brands. they were well worth the risk.

The product state that it would have a red led light to it, which is the only reason I bought it since I need it for the darkness.

It only has 3 white led lights.

False Advertising and a waste of eleven dollars. Simple as that.

I purchased this upon the recommendation and suggestion by several people in one of my groups. I have not ever used a head lamp before so really didn't know what to expect. This particular lamp is okay for reading in bed maybe. I find that the illumination is less than desirable. The light is very bright across a very narrow band; but, it quickly fades out to less than adequate lighting. I know that when I am working on one of my pine needle baskets, I have to get the light in a very precise position in order for the bright part of the light to be able to adequately illuminate that part of the basket that I'm working on.

My son gave this light a real-world test last night when he was coming home from the pool. When I asked him how helpful the light was, he said that it was almost like he didn't have it on. He said his flashlight would have done a better job lighting his path.

My opinion of these lights is that they will work okay, depending on what you are doing. The very bright area in the center of the beam might be distracting; but, if you are doing detail work, it could be helpful if you keep the bright center part of the beam focused on what you are working on. I prefer a brighter beam spread out over a wider area than what these headlamps provide.

If I am in need of head lamps in the future, I'm not likely to purchase this package.
