Some of my halogen recessed lighting fixtures in my kitchen started dying so I removed the original bulb receptacle and replaced them with these and a few new crimp-on connectors. I originally thought i needed to replace the fixture...but my fixtures are "new work" meaning I'd need to make a big hole in the ceiling to replace the whole unit. Wanting to avoid that, I started to look for the root cause or my problem. I figured out it was the receptacle by removing it (it had two spade quick connects) and checking it for continuity. Once I knew what I needed, I hunted everywhere until I found these. These are not available at any home stores. I figured it was worth a shot for the price. They work as expected and I'm back in business.

They come with bare leads so you'll need to be mildly handy electrically.

Working on a DIY project that needs a high wattage 12v halogen bulb to produce heat. This was perfect. Nicely made. I could not find these in any local home store. After searching all over this is by far the best price and the shipping was fast.

Solid, high quality replacement for the sockets in my aging outdoor path lights. Worked out perfectly for me. Even the screw holes matched up. The originals lasted 10 years and I'm hoping these last at least that long...

I've used these to replace shoddy OEM sockets in landscape lights they work and fit great. A bit pricey, but ok with the Amazon Prime shipping deal. Buying again!

I called my pool supplier to get a new bi-pin base socket for my Fiberstars pool lights. I was told it was obsolete. I found this one on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. It works like a champ.. Thanks Amazon
