If you really think you are going to get a 1000 lumen light for this price, well, I have a bridge to sell you.

I assumed that it was a typo for 100 lumen. The light took a while to arrive but did arrive within the delivery window.

It came with two batteries and charger and I am pleased with it so far (1 week), you could easily spend this much on just two 18650 batteries.

The output is easily 200+ lumen on high and compares favorably to my old trusty Surefire 6P incan, with this light being much whiter.

The three brightness levels are appropriate although I do wish the low was lower to better preserve night vision, the strobe and SOS modes are useless to me.

I give this four stars because, while not as advertised, it is a good quality light at a very good price.

I own a Fenix torch that is rated at 800+ lumens, when compared side by side to this flashlight it doesn't even hold a candle (sorry) to the Fenix. Brighter than most but not even close to 1000 lumens, my guess would be 300 lumens.

Bought this because i wanted a really bright flashlight.....i already have several 200-50 lumen lights.....this is NOT anywhere near 1000 lumens.....lumen meter puts it UNDER 215 with FULL charge on batteries...highest reading i could get was 213.....

while I have not had it long enough to tell if the battery charger of these batteries will hold up....they do work as advertised......

also the quality control poor.....the seal to make front of light waterproof was damaged in assembly and light cannot be taken apart by end used to fix it.......

Honest reviews on UltraFire 1000 Lumens CREE XM-L T6 LED Flashlight Torch+2x18650

I use this everyday. It can light a room about as well as a 9W(40watt replacement) or 13W(60W replacement) CFL bulb. Flashlight gets hot if left on high more than a few minutes. Every setting other than high stopped working 33 days after I got in the mail. Bulb needed soldering inside after that. I also added some thermal gunk just to be sure.

I do love this flash light but can not give it more than 3 stars because it didn't work right for long(-1 star) and needed to be reworked after not much use(-1 star).

Going to buy another one and hope it works better.

Very well constructed. It was an authentic ultrafire. Many different companies manufacture ultrafire but there are a lot of fakes out there. This flashlight is very bright, but not 1000 lumens as they claim. The ansi rating is probably 400 range. Its brighter than my streamlight protac 2L by quite a bit and that flashlight is rated at 270 lumens. The batteries are not protected so you can't let them drain too low or charge to high, but the charger shuts off to avoid over charging, just don't let the battery drain completely and you will be fine. The batteries hold a charge for a long time. Only charged the first time so far and use it every night to let the dogs out and it's still not ready to be charged, still haven't used the second battery yet. Overall I love the light for the price you can't go wrong. I alreadiy bought another one but different model and like them both.
