Light bulbs were exactly as advertised and arrived earlier than expected. They arrived well packaged and were easy to change. So far they have worked very well, providing bright lighting since they were installed.

Product is a direct replacement bulb for 4 pin square base lamps. I had @ 3 years life on the bulb that came with my fixture so I purchased two this time. Good price on Amazon as prices swing greatly for these bulbs and shipment arrived quickly.

Only rub is that I wish I could find this in a LED version instead CFL. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. So c'mon Phillips get with the times!

Our builder installed the base which uses these lightbulbs for our closet. At most, the closet lights are on 2 hours of the day. These lightbulbs have been consistently burning out in under a year. The most recent bulb burned out after a little over 8 months. Even if our lights were on 24 hours a day, this would still be less then 60% of the touted life span (10,000 hours). In reality, the life span appears to be approximately 5% of the 10,000 expected. These bulbs seem to be costing us MORE because of the frequent need to replace. We will be installing new light fixtures as a result to avoid having to purchase this product again.
