Highly recommended for any homeowners, campers, handymen, etc. This light straps on your forehead and provides light (hands-free) when you are in in dark spaces or when you cast a shadow over what you need to see. For example, peering into a furnace. It can also be hand-held as a flashlight of course. I got it so that I will have hands-free light even during power failures. It works for a long, long time on 3 AA batteries.
My own unit took a little coaxing to work -you may have to fiddle with it to get the battery-pack completely seated.
Click once to get one LCD bulb to go on, again to get three bulbs, and again to light all seven bulbs. Sometimes it's enough to have just one bulb shining.
It's a good gift idea for a guy who likes gadgets (and what guy doesn't)?
