I've been ordering small (shop / shed size) solar-powered lighting for years. I haven't seen this type of product before and there were no reviews but the price seemed reasonable enough to take a chance. I have only had it a few days so this is not a review of the product's long-term performance but so far, this thing is Great! The feature that allows you to remove the lamp from the charging fixture and use as a flashlight is exceptional. The materials seem fairly rugged and durable as well. Not the thin, cheap plastic these solar components often are made out of. I will update the review in a few months and add my 2cents on the longer-term performance.
January 31, 2012 update: I had to return the original product as it ceased to operate after a couple of days. I suspect it was a problem with the small metal contacts on the handheld unit. They seemed a bit "loose". Anyway, I took advantage of the Amazon return / replacement process and within a couple of days I had returned the original product via pre-paid UPS pickup and recieved a replacement which has been working perfectly for the last two weeks.Solar panel bracket? Broken. Charging holster? Missing. This is how the flashlight arrived. It has never worked and apparently never will.
