I bought 2 of these to use for a light tent setup for shooting my own 3D artwork. The bulbs are fairly large compared to a normal size light bulb. The base for the bulb seems to be large, and the bulb is more elongated, but not ginormous or obnoxiously big. I forgot where I heard of these, but I'm glad to have found them on Amazon. They are totally worth the price you pay. The best part is the number of lumens, at a count of 2800! The color is just perfect for daylight bulbs, unlike those warm tint bulbs. Definitely had to do my research before discovering these. I just use a clip lamp and screw these in. Best daylight bulb I've seen and will last super long. Highly recommended and I entirely trust PBL as a company now.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you haven't used them for a while, they may need to heat up for a few minutes. The fluid/gas or whatever's inside the bulb will start flowing to the other parts, just give it a few minutes. I turned one on and thought it had been bumped/broken, but it was 100% functioning within a few minutes of warming up.
