I purchased this head lamp for cleaning my gun and other close up work. Not so much for walking in the woods at night, but it probably works just fine for that as well. I like the broad light projection for close up small work. Seems well made. Also noticed the product on the reality show Bamazon (Discovery Channel) where they were looking for gold in the Amazon. You can't really loose for the price.
