These lights brighten up my whole deck and back yard. I got 4 strips and joined them together...they are REALLY hard to join together...and the piece to do this just became unavailable on Amazon sooo be careful if you need to join these lights. They are beautiful in the evenings...The white are really bright so if you don't want a bright clear light...get another color...:)

I got a single set of these to help the light in my apartment (we only have two lamps so we needed something more) I put up a single strip along the top of one of the walls and the difference was amazing. I plan to order another one, possibly two to cover the whole apartment. Also make sure to get the adapter that it recommends in the commonly bought together section, you need it for the LEDs to work.

Ease for me to use and understand, but I have had electronic training. Polarity marking on LED carrier strip are hard to see for these old eyes. Cut marks were not a problem. I used the double stick "cushion" tape to make neat installation.

Honest reviews on Lighting EVER® Flexible LED Strips, LED Ribbon Light, Waterproof

First, this will probably work with whatever 12v power supply you have lying around. Unless you really don't want to experiment, give the manufacturers power supply a pass and just buy more lights.

Good silicone construction. All of mine worked on arrival, but then I stepped on the strand in heavy boots. The only consequence was the loss of 3 lights.

Would buy again!

This is a good solid product for what it says it is. I will attempt to provide a description so you know how it is different from similar products.

My husband travels to Taiwan for business and has brought me back a series of LED lighting strips for our closets, my seed starting spot (tomatoes and hot peppers), and various other low profile pieces. I ran out of the stuff he brought back for me and so ordered this as my tomato starts were getting leggy without enough light.

The ones from Taiwan are available in different spacings usually described as X number of LEDs per foot or per meter. Higher density of LEDs will provide more light. These are spaced about a centimeter more between LEDs than my highest output strip from Taiwan. This means they're bright but there is more light available on the market if you have needs like tomato seedlings.

These came pre-soldered with a connector, very nice and easy to plug a left over 12V adapter into. The ones I've gotten from Taiwan are on a much longer/larger strip (think 50 feet) so I've slowly been learning to clip and solder connectors. (Good videos on youtube)

The main difference is in how these are waterproofed. The one I ordered here you basically see a long piece of copper tape with a gel-like tube around it, there is loose space in between the copper and the tubing. If you cut it to length (very doable) you won't have waterproofed area unless you use some shrink tubing and liquid electrical tape to cover it. The gel-like tube is very flexible and "floppy" so attaching it you'll need to take that into account.

The ones from Taiwan that I've gotten used to working with are a flat tape with 3M backing on them and a plastic, like heat gun plastic over the top of the LEDs. This provides an easier method of attaching the tape as well as more sturdy water proofing. Clipping and soldering them takes a bit more work (Yes, I've ruined a good foot of this stuff in my learning curve, well worth it in the long run).

I do think that the product ordered is very workable in a greenhouse situation if you don't have children or employees but just a small seed starting area like I do. If you are using this in a commercial or business area I'd get an electrician to install it with some precautions around safety.

All in all a good solid product although very different from what I've been used to and what I was expecting.
