Review of LENBO 10W 12V DC Warm White LED Flood light High Power Waterproof

For starters, I did not believe the description of "Warm White" as others noted that it was the typical unfiltered harsh LED blue but the color is quite nice.

I have not measured it yet but I would say it is pretty close to a halogen lamp, probably about 3500K.

It measured at just about 13 watts with my Kill A Watt gizmo but that is certainly close enough and I am sure it is not 100% accurate anyway.

It is doing duty as a BBQ light and at a distance of about 8' it gives plenty of light but the pattern is a bit too wide so some sort of barn doors are in its future.

Another thing that was not so clear was polarity and DC vs AC voltage.

It did have a little + symbol on one of the leads but that vanished about 2 minutes after I took the lamp out of the box so I just presumed brown was the hot lead and it works.

There is also no info with the lamp and the Amazon pages are not clear as to whether they are meant for AC, DC or both but it works great tied into my 12v AC transformers so I don't care right now...

Wow!!! These are some awesome lamps. You wont believe how much bright white light comes out of these little giants. I'll probably go but more for other projects that I have.

I was considering adding some conventional flood lights around the house but decided to get these instead. Couldnt be happier. By my calculations each unit costs less than $3 to run all night, every night per year. I have them on a photocell that turns them on and off. I really hope they last, buying more to have as spares. Changing the fixtures out is not much harder than changing a lightbulb, two small bolts on either side. I did notice as another reviewer pointed out that there is a "+" on one of the leads but these work similar to other 12v lights I have hooked upit doesn't matter which way you hook up the wires, works both ways. No + or on 12v systems. The light is pleasant, not the old blue leds we have seen in the past. Casing is solid, mount is a little thin, it will likely be the first part to fail.

This review is for the 10W 12V A/C D/C version.

Haven't run them for 50,000 hours yet, so I can't claim as to the durability.

Don't have a lux meter, so I can't tell you how bright they actually are, but appear to be about as bright as a 40-watt incandescent bulb.

I ordered three of these 12 volt DC lights to put in my van to use when loading DJ equiment at night. These lights are not 12 volt as add stated, they are 85-265 volt. I am very disapointed with the sellers ad on these lights.
