I first got a $50 clip-on and had trouble clamping it onto a podium.

Then got this one world's best podium / worklight / booklight!

So bright, don't look into it from too close. On 3 worn-out NIHM AAA batteries, it was fully bright for 4 hours then took 10 hours to dim below a usable brightness. On fresh alkalines, I'll bet 6 hours plus full brightness.

So it was the speaker's podium light on national television (C-SPAN).

With its 9 inch "flexneck", it also happens to be the best worklight in working in and around my computer or any other household task.
