I ordered 5 of these bulbs and received all five without the housing lens... Does that mean they are refurbished? Shouldn't be... not advertised as such. Nevertheless, very strange. I've been buying these bulbs for years at Home Depot and Lowe's and never ever had a bulb with the lens disk cover. Returned all five for a refund.

Each bulb comes in its own box and easy to install. I have been very happy with them and will buy more at a later date. They have been working just as good as the more expensive bulbs. None have burned out since installing them a couple of months ago.
