I bought 2 of these lights to replace a halogen light that is mounted on my rocket launchers ( rod holders) on my fishing boat. After hooking 1 light up to a battery I realized that one light is more than enough light for nighttime fishing. The white bright light really makes a big difference. I bought these to help the lighting that came on my new Kubota, when the bucket is up even slightly, the light is blocked. I wanted to mount these on the ROPS bar that goes on top of the tractor, ROPS is there in case of roll over. I hooked them to it and I am not kidding, these are brighter than the high beams on cars. They are so bright that when I cut the tractor lights on, there was no difference in light. These are made very tough, very thick aluminum base, very thick glass plate too. I have these mounted on the front of my 14' jon for night fishing.. they light up the river like daytime, the only downfall are the bugs :/
