Dead on arrival, had to return. Batteries not the problem, it was the light. Looked cheap, poorly constructed. Would not recommend.

Wow is the least I can say. I purchased this light when it was $2.00 less. I purchased it as a tosser because of the price. However, when I got the item I was impressed. It is Quite brite. It has many features. I am used to Dorcy, Coast, and Led Lenser. They are very expensive by comparison. Yes, there are some significant differences. However, this light is simply a fantastic item for the price. I purchased it because it easily converts from 3 AAA cells to a 18650 cell. The conversion is very easy. I like the length of the light with the extension for the 18650 battery so I made an adapter to use the extension but use the 3 AAA cells. It has a fairly long run time. I am impressed. It has high, low, and strobe bode. It has a sliding zoom. Though I find zoom not much useful. I use it mostly spot high power concentrated beam. I would buy these regularly because of the price. Yes you get more for the high end names. Except for Coast with its LIFETIME warranty and features, you get so so little more for so much more money. I can buy 6 of these for 1 LED Lenser. Like I said, this can be a tosser. If it gets nicked, lost, damaged, who cares, get another.

I've just had this flashlight a few days and I'm very pleased with it. It is very bright (and I mean bright!), like you would expect a Cree light to be and the flashlight itself is metal and solidly built. The Zoom/focus feature works great. It has three modes: Bright, not as bright and Strobe, a nice bonus. What I particularly like is that it can use standard AAA batteries. And it is reasonably priced.
