This is the coolest lamp I've ever saw. It can cycle through colors slowly or quickly, and also has a solid white setting. When I first turned it on, it was solid white, and I thought it was defective or just the wrong product. After looking at the instructions, it revealed it has a 3-setting switch. Left and right are color and white, while center is off. There's also a knob that adjusts the speed of color change, which is awesome. I'm going to order a second one and set them on both sides of my TV.

The good:

This lamps looks brilliant on or off. It's very bright in both modes (color phasing and white), unlike what another reviewer stated. You can also change the speed of the phasing which is an added bonus. Everyone who sees the lamp, wants one. It looks that awesome. For aesthetic looks and parties absolute 5 stars in this regard.

The bad.

Wish a dimmer was included. The LEDs can become annoyingly bright if one wants this lamp for mood purposes. Also, I wish one could set the lamp to a solid color (red, blue, or green) instead of being held hostage to a color phase only mode.

Another thing, I've had this lamp for about 6 months. The color phasing recently started to act up. Now it won't turn on at all. Only the white setting works. So today, I decided to take the bottom apart and play around with the switch. I ended up cutting wires and by passing the mother board's phasing circuitry which turned out to be the problem. Well what do you know, I figured out how to wire the lamp up to either get a solid red, green, or blue look OR a mix of the two or all 3. I can even add the white LEDs to it too but that is way over the top bright and looks kind of like a UFO on crack.

Anyways, I give the radiance lamp 4 stars because it is beautiful and eye catching when working properly. Just be aware to any potential buyers that the above flaws do exist.

I just got it today, the top of the lamp has a brown paper cover over plexiglas. At first I thought it was a sticker that you could peel off, but I cannot get it off. The light itself was ok, I buy my son a new light for his room every Christmas and this one was not great. It appears more like Christmas lights than mood or party lights. You cannot lock on any one color. The base appears cheaply made and the the top of the lamp has no cover, odd. I do not like it.

This item is not worth $80. Remember that it is fairly tiny, but it is also lacking a top (acrylic pieces everywhere) the lights cycle to fast (even on the slowest setting), the actual machining and parts are fairly inexpensive. Looks like a manufacturer trying to make a quick buck or putting out their first ever product.

Didn't care much for this. I bought it to brighten a room (using the white setting) but also to add some cool lighting for parties. It's not bright enough. It's kind of cheesy. I sent it back. They gave me a refund (thankfully) but there was a 30% restocking fee (not everything on amazon has hassle free returns! read this carefully when buying anything on this site!).
