Got 8 of these and I highly recommend them. Used them in the porch light fixtures also and they are very bright. Nearly as bright as the 1141 bulbs that I replaced. Use about .3 amps and stay very cool. I like the color temperature also, bright but not blue. RV Travelmats got them to me quickly and in good shape.

These worked great in our motorhome! Gives great white light using hardly any energy AND they are cool to the touch. These replaced our yellow and hot 1141 bulbs. Wonderful product would highly recommend.

Brilliant white light, installed in my RV trailer, really helps maximize light fixtures reach. The product contains two different types of adapters based on the type of plug you have. The light "bulb" part, is not attached to the electrical plug. Instead, you plug it in, a short wire connects the bulb and you use double sided foam tape to adhere the bulb to the bottom of the fixture. Seems confusing, it really isn't! It looks "cheap" with this design but it allows you to angle the bulb based on need and change electrical plug to the different adapters. No more melted light covers with these, even if you accidentally leave it on for a day. These do not get excessively hot, just a slight warmth. Will buy again, these are also great on energy usage especially if your running of an RV battery while camping.

I'm concerned that the amount of heat generated over thirty minutes will melt and distort the fixture cover. I'll have to find a replacement that runs cooler.
