We recently remodeled our home and in the process replaced all of our outdoor lighting and flood lights with these two and three head Lithonia LED Motion detection and dusk to dawn lights. They are a bit pricey but I feel worth the cost when you consider the typical halogen 100 and 200 watt bulb replacement once or twice a year.

I was a bit sceptical about how bright an LED could be but was pleasantly surprised when I turned on the first one. These babies are very bright with an excellent daylight white color. Each head is about 10 watts. So the two head is a total of 20 watts and the three head is 30 watts. My total wattage will be reduced by magnatudes. It will take awhile for the lights to pay for themselves but not having to replace halogen bulbs is a big plus in and of itself.

I installed 10 of these units with a total of 24 heads totaling 240 watts. They replaced 14 halogen and incandescent lights that totaled 1,400 watts.

Easy to install. Some (round base) have a foam rubber weather seal others (rectangular base) need to have silicone caulk to weather seal.

A truly wonderful product that is well worth the premium price.

This item is a bit pricey but it is a great light. The sensor adjustment works really well, I had it turned way up when I first got it only to find that a light breeze moving the bushes around across the driveway would set it off so I turned it down and it is perfect. There is a little red led that comes on when it sees you so you can adjust it during the day even without the test feature. As far as brightness I have a two car driveway and it turns night into day, I had to aim them down so as not to blast my neighbors as of yet I have recieved no complaints from them. The three light version of this light would just be overkill I think unless you are trying to light up a large yard. Great product, I am sold on led lights I will definatly buy again if I ever need to. BTW I have had them working for a couple months now.

I purchased the lights as I am environmentally conscious and investment wise. I wanted a light that could be on for hours and not make me feel like I was throwing money out the window. I liked the look and functionality of the lights and with consistent feedback -I was sold. My personal experience with the lights are solid and identical to the positive feedback.

As with most LED's, I was skeptical about how bright these lights would be. The lights are very bright by any standard -and at 10 watts per light (20 watts total), the investment will pay off in the years to come. I feel that the brightness is at least equivalent in perspective to a 500 watt set (I am sure the 500w would be brighter, but unless you put them side by side you would probably be happy with the LED). The light diffused very well and not at all like a spotlight.

The light is not reddish or yellow like many CFLs... More like moon, stadium, or prison lights. So, if you are looking to bring back memories of romance, reminiscing of your broken days of football (or band), and/or your 22 months at Parchman -these lights are for you! For the security aware, these lights will just direct any threat to toward your less protected neighbors house.

Very versitile light mounted it on a horizontal soffit and was able to adjust lights easily. very easy to set up sensitivity and coverage in test mode. Has been working great for a week so far. The only drawback (why I gave it 4 stars) is that it is really made for new construction where the electrical box is recessed in the wall. Buying a 4" low profile circular electrical box for external old construction didn't work since the mounting flange depth is only about 3/8" so I had to mount the light on a piece of 2x6 with the electrical box recessed in it.

These lights are great. They are really bright and if you even a little bit handy you should be able to install these lights in 30 minutes or less. I replaced some halogen lights with these. The light from the LED lights is very bright. Especially when compared to the halogen lights which are yellow in comparison. The motion detector can be adjusted for sensitivity and has a wide field. They work exactly as advertised.
