I was a little skeptical of buying this bulb since it had no reviews. Overall i think this i a win. I would recommend this light if you don't mind the 1-2 second delay.

*As bright or brighter than the 55 watt Halogens i had in its place while only using 9 watts

A better deal than at Home Depot or other stores and like that the design reduces the harshness of the light.

Best Deals for Lighting EVER 9 Watt PAR30 LED Bulb, 70W Halogen Bulbs Replacement

Need to update my earlier review (below). One bulb is already dead after 9 months. So much for 30,000 hour life span. I guess I will try to get a replacement using the 2 year warranty.

I am replacing the PAR30 bulbs in recessed fixtures in the kitchen. The light is even and nice but a bit greenish compared with the incandescent and halogen bulbs. I think it will look OK when the old bulbs are gone and all the remaining ones are the same. There is a delay when the switch is turned on and a weird luminescent glow after they are turned off. The luminescence is green so I am pretty sure that is what gives the greenish hue when the lamp is on.

I do like the look of the bulb with the milky glass and metal border. It is a good length for a standard receptacle unlike some other LED floods that require socket extenders.

my client really liked this lamp but we bought six and one did not work so i,m not sure what to do to replace it except buy another and eat the cost

It is all that is expected, beautiful soft bright light until I tried to dim it along with some other incandescent white lights in my ceiling sunken fixtures. The brightness lowered slightly as the others lowered significantly to about two-thirds, then the subject light started blinking full power on and off and continued to do so until I either lowered completely or raised back up. This is NOT what I call dimmable.
