This lamp just arrived yesterday, but I'm already delighted by it. It was very easy to assemble, the base is secure and the design allows the ligt to be usefully distributed. Another reviewer called the switch fragile. It seems solid enough to me. The light itself is both soft and bright and and can be dimmed. But the best thing is that the led light feels better to my eyes than other types of light. This is easily the best desk lamp I've ever had.

totally love it. and an excellent price. I just wish the clockwise turn-switch went from off --> dim --> bright, rather than off-->bright-->dim. you have to get blinded every time you turn it on before you can get to the dim setting. but that's a tiny detail...

Easy to put together. Base is a bit large. I always confuse the on/off switch direction but not to the point that I wreck the product.

Best part of this lamp: LED lights. Everything else fell short of expectations.

The lamp does not seat evenly on the base. Certainly not a design worthy of the $100 price.

The switch is a fragile-looking piece of plastic which you twist to turn on the lamp and to adjust the intensity. I cannot imagine it lasting long, and not the 25 years PRISM claims that this lamp will last. It is also not located in the convenient place. Most users will find that they will have to get up from their chair to adjust or turn the lamp on, if they place it on their desk.

I was given a delivery date when the item shipped. The initial "tracking" delivery date mysteriously changed to a week later on the day the lamp was supposed to arrive. Apparently, 3-4 business day delivery is when they ship it by surface. When you get it, after it tours the country, is a matter of luck. My e-mail to the vendor was simply IGNORED.

NOT my favorite company to buy from.

You'll like the effect of this LED desk lamp. Personally, not so enamored with the effect. Functional but not necessarily the best-looking contemporary design, the dimming function is one of the best features, as it smoothly rotates from top to lowest setting, though it doesn't dim to a particularly low mood-type setting. I would still recommend it for the vertically articulating arm and dimming device. It may not wow from a design standpoint, but it is a functional lighting choice that is better than most task lamps I have purchased and used over the years, outside three halogen Tizio desk lamps which have no peer among task lighting.
