Reliable. I've had this light for several winter months, it is holding up through cold and snow. It's as bright as my other solar lights, which is enough to highlight my fountain (small area). It does look a little plastic (doesn't blend with my river rock) but doesn't stand out as much as a metal/plastic light. Go for it.

This light is as advertised if you think of it as a night light. I guess I was looking for a small spot light to illuminate an outside water garden. The light is very weak and doesn't light up anything. It looks OK, but not really what I wanted.
