I am so pleased with these little lamps. I purchased 20 of them to feature artwork for my students, and they are incredible! They give off just the right amount of light, have a nice clip on them that holds pages of a book in place, or can clamp on an art canvas with no problems. Yes, the batteries are expensive, but if you invest in decent batteries (I bought a pack of 100 Energizer on Amazon for $30), I think you will be just fine. Customer service for this company is wonderful. I had direct contact with a person via email. She was professional, sweet, and they were quick to answer any of my questions in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommend!

This is incredibly cheap for how useful it is. I actually use this as an addition to my soldering helping hands, so I can see better, and it works well.

I found it very useful in seeing the interior of a PC and getting a SATA cable precisely positioned for insertion into an available slot. The clip-on end was attached to a metal surface which left both hands free to do the work.
