I purchased this light as a replacement for a 70 watt High Pressure Sodium light. While the light pattern does not throw quite as far as the old HPS light, the quality of the light is far superior. It was a direct replacement for the original light so I didn't have to drill any new holes, wired in using the existing wire nuts and functioned the same (save for the lack of a warm up time for the LED light). I'll save about 70% in powering this light, so it was a win all the way around. If you need a good yard light, while the initial price is a bit high, this product should be given serious consideration.

It works well, lined up with the bolts from the original light I had hanging. Not as bright as the old light, but cheaper to run.

yeah its pricey but apparently its cheaper on the bill by a bit. last month with a high pressure sodium light about the same lumens I paid just under a hundred for my overall bill. I was only home for 2 weeks and the air was turned up a bit.

This month with the light and me at home the whole month my bill was 110 versus like 96 before. I am sure there have to be at least a 5 to 7 dollar savings a month on this light. burns dusk to dawn every night.

The light has been up a week--so far so good! It gives the amount of light I needed, doesn't intrude on my neighbor's property, and looks good. A little more than I wanted to spend, but it seems to be doing the job.
