I like the quality of light and the adjustable amount of light, but there are a couple of design flaws. First, the switch is too easily triggered as the light gets carried around in my backpack. I'm wearing out the batteries lighting the inside of my bag! The other is that it's good for "average sized" books, but you cannot get the light far enough away from the clip for really large books. (I thought I wanted a light that didn't have one of those flexible necks because my last one got too beat up in my backpack, but this light doesn't give enough positioning flexibility for an odd-sized book.)

This is a very compact (it folds up) book light that provides good reading light. I like that it has variable brightness and color (bright white to softer easy-on-the-eyes yellow light, which is so soothing when my eyes are tired; either or both can be chosen by pushing on the side button). There is a middle part between the two arms and the arms have lights on the ends. The arms pull out from either side of the middle and can be adjusted to go side to side or up and down. The arms move with each other so they cannot be moved independently; if you move the right one, the left one also moves at the same angle. It clips to the book and is easy to maneuver the light where I want it to go. It's very lightweight so it doesn't fall off the book or bend down a paperback book. The clip seems sturdy, although all plastic, but the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is when it's attached to the book it only swivels to the left, not the right. The battery is included, which is a plus. I've only had it for a few days so can't attest to the durability, but so far I'm very happy with it.
