For the money, you can't beat it. It arrived very fast and was easy to install. Super bright halogen light gives you almost daylight outside at night.

Bulb replacement for these lamps is terrible. To replace a bulb, slide two clips [holding the unframed glass lens] out of the way and carefully remove that glass without cutting yourself. Typically, the glass will be stuck to the rubber gasket and has to be pried off which is risky, since prying could crack the glass, plus it could be dropped. Imagine doing that high up on ladder, where you'll need to find a place to keep the glass while replacing the old bulb!

Summary:

Even though overall lamp quality is OK, bulb replacement is so bad, my advice is to avoid this product.

Relamping:

It's not uncommon for aging outdoor halogen flood bulb-holder contacts to corrode, killing your lamp. Once those contacts corrode, you'll need to replace the lamp. To curtail corrosion on your new lamp, apply a tiny dab of electrical contact grease on the halogen flood bulb ends prior to installing. Dielectric grease seems to work just as well as an anti-corrosion measure, even though it doesn't conduct electricity.

I ordered this product and it showed to be brown, it was white. I already four of the brown ones so this was a big problem. After opening I found out it was missing the base to mount it. This makes this light useless to me. I can't comment on the performance of the light because, well because I can't mount it. Customer Service jumped right on the problem so we will see what happens next. They instantly sent a request for the base and I said I could just paint the light. Better than shipping an item that cost less than the shipping itself.
