Very nice, unobtrusive fan, with fluorescent light. The motor has plenty of pull, with very low noise levels. Installation was straight forward, although keep in mind this is a rather large unit. So happy, I bought a second one for my other bathroom. The only thing that would have made this better is if they included a seal to place between the unit and the sheetrock, otherwise you are left with having to use some type of sealant.

It has Florescent light that comes on just a little bit slower. If it is LED, it will be better. It is quietest, sturdy and sucks well. I bought two. I may need another one.

Compact solution. Very quiet operation and very good lighting from a CFL based light. The bulb takes about 30 seconds to get up to full brightness, which is great for this variety. Fan is efficient and takes all the humidity from our shower stall. Simple installation if you have access to the attic above the space to be vented. Bought from Amazon warehouse as a "used" unit, but on delivery, I could not find one thing used about it. Looked brand new and a fair price at $125. Might be another one of these in our future.

We bought this fan/light combo as we wanted something quiet that looked nice. We couldn't find a light fixture that went well with the newly renovated bathroom, so decided on this one due to the clean recessed look. We're very happy with how it looks. The fan is excellent, when the shower is running you can't even hear it and there is no steam build-up visible (bathroom is ~50 sq ft with a 9' ceiling). There are two positions for the light, in the lower position it is much brighter, but it restricts the airflow. In the lower position we found it did not move enough air (though it was virtually silent and noticeably brighter). In the upper (more recessed) position the light isn't overly bright, but as long as it's not your only light source (e.g. have lights on the wall by the mirror) it is sufficient for regular use. The bulb is a GU24 base so it plugs in, doesn't screw in, and while there is the telltale hum of the florescent, it isn't any louder than a standard screw type CFL. When/if the fan goes in the other bathroom we'll likely get another one of these as a replacement.

Nice fan and light combo. Quiet and keeps the room well lit. However, they fan is consistent at times it seems to sound like it is slowing down and speeding up. All in all it was a great purchase though and exactly what I wanted
