The light emitted by the lanterns is a cold blue rather than the warm yellow I was hoping for... and I have found that hanging them on my tree branches means they don't get enough sunlight to charge during the day. They do look very nice unlit, though, and I am hoping they will work better on another tree. Overall, not worth the money.

I bought three at a hardware store for $14.00 each. The light is a blue versus yellow but they are still a nice accent. I have them hanging on a horizontal tree branch and they seem to get enough sun to glow until about 10 pm. However, this is Hawaii so perhaps we have stronger sun for a longer period of time. Overall I am pleased with them.

There were several products on the market, I wanted one with good quality at a reasonable price. The quality on this product is great. They have a lot of light for small solar lights and run all night long on a full days charge.
