This bulb is totally awsome. I was using a 90 watt flood to shine on my car at night. I got this bulb and WOW!!!!! what a difference. Only 21 watts and brighter than a 90 watt. Definately worth the money.

I've only installed this bulb for about a month, and it seems to be very nice. Very solid METAL case and it felt very heavy and solid. The cooling fins allowed a nice tight fit when I used a tool that reaches 10 feet to install the bulb-better than a standard bulb. I have it installed right next to a 90 watt outdoor spot about 30 feet in the air, under a roof soffet. The light emitted from the standard bulb and the LED is nearly identical when you look at the result on the ground below.

My goal was to: a) Not get on a ladder every year, b) Save money on electrical usage and c) Not lose any light brightness, and thus far, this appears to be working very well on all 3 points. If the bulb fails, I will update the review.

We have had two of these in a RAB outdoor motion-sensitive security fixture for over a month. I couldn't be more pleased with the brightness and coloration (very white) of the light. The bulbs appear to be of extremely high quality and are clearly well sealed from the elements. I highly recommend this bulb. Time will only tell regarding their longevity.
