This lightweight metal piece is a must for every 8.5" Resort line fixture. Fits fine, does what it is designed to do. Not sure why they don't come with them, but they don't (except the hanging fixture which comes with one).
Although Amazon gave some crazy lead time (3-4 months), the came in about 2 weeks.
The other review which mentions the State of California cancer causing materials warning, is misleading. Every electrical device I have purchased in recent history has this warning (from holiday lights to top-of-the line lighting fixtures). Unless you are planning on using this as a baby pacifier (just kidding don't do this), I am not sure why this warning would cause you to return this decorative grill.Notice on package "This product contains chemicals recognized by California to cause cancer, birth defects, and/or other reproductive harm. Thoroughly was hands after touching product".
