If you are looking for yellow/amber/warm lights as the picture shows, look else where. These are still very typical white LEDs without any warm as stated. Ignore the photo which is obviously adjusted to appeal to those looking for warm incandescent substitutes.

I have a small 3 ft. tree I want illuminated year round. The plug is only 8 or so inches to the first light so you really have to be close to the outlet. Definitely need an extension cord if your placing further than that away from the outlet. I would have preferred a little more length in the cord to plug it directly in without having to use an extension cord. The lights are cool to the touch and a little yellowish because they are warm white. Ok product.
