this is really a perfect desk lamp for someone who likes to craft. the caddy base makes this lamp more functional as you can keep some tools right in arms reach and not take extra room on your craft desk! the day light bulb makes such a difference! but truly the best part is the extra outlet on the back! the only thing that could make this better is if the outlet plug was in the front of the base for easier access. SO happy with this purchase!

I'm gonna let it shine!!! This Ott light is perfect for beside-your-stitching chair and helps add light when you need it. The storage capability is nice in that it helps keep some appearance of order, whether it is set up for my stitching (needlepoint) or making jewelry. If the light had a little longer arm (we always need just ONE more inch!), and thus a concomitant increase in the side of the base), it would have been just perfect...BUT. the price is great and the shopping was extremely fast! Thanks for the added flexability at a bargain rate!

It's everything a tabletop crafter or artist could ask for, and then some. If your sewing machine light isn't bright enough, this adjustable lamp will resolve the problem. Especially good when space is limited. The electrical outlet in the base is great for using a glue gun, charging a cell phone while you work, etc. Being collapsible and portable is frosting on a wonderful cake. Bought mine on sale recently at a big box crafts store for $39.99, 50% off List Price.

This is perfect for my scrapbooking. It holds my most used small tools and the light is great. Just what I was looking for to see my colors. The plug on the back is great for glue guns and hot irons. I also like it can be folded up and put away if I need to. Great product. Would recommend.

This is a great portable light for working on crafts. It's small, so it doesn't give of the amount of light that a larger OttLite would, but it is nice.
